College Football Week 7 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Temple vs. UCF

The UCF Knights will look to make it six straight wins vs. the Temple Owls Thursday night in Orlando, as this American Athletic Conference matchup offers plenty of headlines. For the home Knights, second-year head coach Gus Malzahn has this team humming along, averaging 35.6 points per game including 251.6 per game on the ground (#4 in the country).

After suffering a week two setback to Louisville where their offense remained stagnant, UCF has pinned their ears back since opening conference play with a 41-19 smashing of SMU last Wednesday.

As for the Owls, first-year head coach Stan Drayton has had his hands full this season, as a strong defense has not been complemented by a strong offense. Heading into his game, the Owls are averaging just 15 points per game to rank amongst the worst in college football. While this one might start slow given it’s in-conference, look for the Knights to run away late.
