Moore's touchdown lifts Army past Baylor in overtime
Sep 24, 2006 - 4:09 AM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Tony Moore made sure Baylor's delight lasted only a few minutes.Moore scored on a four-yard touchdown run in overtime to lift Army to a 27-20 victory over the Bears.
Baylor (1-3) tied the game on Ryan Havens' 24-yard field goal with 45 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
But Moore made it a moot point on the Black Knights' seventh play of the extra session. It was the seventh carry of the game for Moore, who finished with 33 rushing yards and also caught three passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.
David Pevoto completed 15-of-22 passes for 138 yards with one touchdown for Army (2-2).
Baylor's Shawn Bell was 26-of-35 for 241 yards with a touchdown. His primary target was Trent Shelton, who caught seven balls for 79 yards and a score.
