Titans edge Bears

Aug 28, 2011 - 3:32 AM Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Tommie Campbell's 90-yard interception return for a touchdown late in the third quarter was the difference as Tennessee topped Chicago, 14-13, in preseason action.

Matt Hasselbeck went 12-of-22 for 135 yards for the Titans, while Jake Locker subbed late and completed two of his four attempts for 13 yards.

Jamie Harper posted 36 yards and a score on 13 carries and Nate Washington totaled 66 yards on four catches.

Jay Cutler was 13-of-21 for 170 yards and one interception for the Bears. Caleb Hanie came on late to go 9-of-18 for 107 yards, but threw the costly pick.

Matt Forte totaled 74 yards and a rushing TD on 17 carries, and Robbie Gould connected on a pair of field goals in defeat.

Ahead 10-7 late in the third, the Bears marched from their own 16 to the Titans' 21, and faced a 2nd-and-10 from there. Hanie tried for Dane Sanzenbacher, but Campbell stepped in front at the 10 and raced the length of the field to put Tennessee on top.

Gould connected on a 52-yarder to bring Chicago within a point on the ensuing drive, but the Bears failed to produce more points with two successive possessions.
