Eagles make a strong showing late, beat Jaguars

Michael Vick played into the third quarter, eventually finishing 15-of-23 for one touchdown to Riley Cooper and one interception, He added 53 yards on seven carries for the Eagles, who improved to 2-1 in their exhibition slate.

Nick Foles subbed and completed 10 of his 11 attempts for 112 yards, while Brown led the way with 92 yards on 11 carries and Brent Celek topped a list of 13 receivers with at least one catch by posting four receptions for 54 yards.

Philadelphia concludes its preseason slate on Thursday against the New York Jets.

Three Jaguars quarterbacks combined to throw for 170 yards, two scores and one interception, with Chad Henne taking the majority of the snaps and going 11- of-18 for 106 yards and TD strikes to Justin Blackmon and Allen Reisner.

Jordan Todman broke off a 63-yard run for a score, part of his 105-yard, eight-carry performance, but Jacksonville fell to 0-3.

The Jags wrap up their preseason schedule on Thursday in Atlanta.
