Jags WR Sanders returns to team
Aug 24, 2014 - 5:18 PM Jacksonville, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Ace Sanders returned to the team on Sunday after a lengthy absence.Sanders was placed on the team's active/non-football injury/illness list after saying in July he would miss most of training camp for personal reasons that would also draw a suspension.
The NFL suspended Sanders four games for violating the league's substance- abuse policy. He will miss the first four games of the regular season.
Sanders was the team's second-leading receiver last season with 51 catches. The 2013 fourth-round pick out of South Carolina added 484 yards and one touchdown.
