Packers look to get back on track against Redskins

The defending NFC championChicago Bears reminded them.The Packers look to rebound from their first loss in 10 monthswhen they host the Washington Redskins on Sunday."I think it's important to keep your eye on the target," GreenBay coach Mike McCarthy said. "We need to improve in a number ofareas."The Packers seemed poised to start 5-0 for the first time since1965, but they could not put away the Bears last week despitegaining 341 yards in the first half.Chicago rallied from a 10-point deficit late in the thirdquarter to stun Green Bay, 27-20. The loss snapped an eight-gamewinning streak for the Packers, who won the last four contestsof last season and the first four games this year.Ranked last in rushing, Green Bay was desperate to get a runninggoing. The Packers accomplished that goal to a degree, gaining121 yards on the ground.But Green Bay committed five turnovers and may have gotten tooconservative in the second half, when it was held to 98 yards.Brett Favre threw his 247th career interception on the game'sfinal play - a desperation pass into the end zone - to tieGeorge Blanda's NFL record.The Redskins will be facing their second straight NFC Northopponent, having drubbed the Detroit Lions, 34-3, last week.Jason Campbell is coming off the best performance of his youngcareer, completing 23-of-29 passes for 248 yards and twotouchdowns.Antwaan Randle El caught seven passes for 100 yards but hisstatus is uncertain after leaving last week's game with ahamstring injury.The Packers have won three straight against the Redskins,including a 28-14 victory in the last meeting in 2004.Washington's last win against Green Bay was a 20-17 triumph inMilwaukee in 1988.- NFL
