Favre looks to finally win at Buffalo

Oct 31, 2006 - 8:28 PM Green Bay (3-4) at Buffalo (2-5) Sunday 1:00 pm EST

ORCHARD PARK, New York (Ticker) -- Brett Favre has not enjoyed his previous two trips to Western New York.

Favre looks to beat the Bills in Buffalo for the first time in his career Sunday when the Green Bay Packers visit Ralph Wilson Stadium.

The previous two trips to Buffalo ended in losses, 29-20 in 1994 and 27-18 in 2000. The future Hall of Famer played well in those games, throwing for 483 yards and five touchdowns with an interception.

Favre has turned things around after a slow start. He has four touchdown passes without an interception in his last three games, during which the Packers have gone 2-1.

Last Sunday, Favre completed 17-of-25 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown in a 31-14 victory over Arizona. Ahman Green rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns and Vernand Morency added 101 yards on the ground.

Green Bay, which is 2-1 on the road, is looking to match its win total from last season.

Coming off their bye, the Bills will be looking to turn around their offensive struggles. They have managed at least 20 points just once in seven games.

During the Bills' three-game losing streak, quarterback J.P. Losman has struggled, throwing five interceptions and losing three fumbles.

Two weeks ago, the Bills managed just two field goals by Rian Lindell in a 28-6 loss to Green Bay.

Buffalo leads the series, 6-3.
