Raiders sign undrafted free agent Greg Townsend Jr.
May 12, 2016 - 12:02 AM ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) The Oakland Raiders have signed undrafted free agent defensive end Greg Townsend Jr.The team announced the move Wednesday to add the son of the all-time sacks leader in franchise history.
The younger Townsend played college football at USC, where he saw action in all 14 games last season.
Greg Townsend Sr. had 107 1/2 sacks with the Raiders and helped the team win the Super Bowl following the 1983 season.
