Brady breaks NFL record in Patriots win
Dec 5, 2016 - 1:25 AM Tom Brady has surpassed Peyton Manning's record for the most NFL wins by a quarterback with his 201st victory in New England's 26-10 triumph over the Los Angeles Rams.Brady marked the record-breaking occasion by throwing for 269 yards and a touchdown as the Patriots improved to 10-2 atop the AFC East.
LeGarrette Blount covered 43 yards to score the game's first touchdown before Brady picked out Chris Hogan later in the first quarter.
The Patriots increased their lead in the AFC East as Miami lost 38-6 to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens raced into a 28-0 halftime lead, with Joe Flacco throwing for 381 yards and four touchdowns to inflict a first defeat in seven on Miami.
Detroit cemented their place at the top of the NFC North standings with a 28-13 win over the New Orleans Saints.
Matthew Stafford thew 341 yards and two touchdowns as Detroit improved to 8-4, while Saints quarterback Drew Brees failed to complete a touchdown pass for the first time in 60 home games.
In the closest of the early games, the Kansas City secured a thrilling 29-28 victory over Atlanta.
The Falcons recovered from 27-16 behind to lead 28-27 with 4:32 remaining as Matt Ryan picked out Aldrick Robinson with a five-yard touchdown pass.
San Francisco fell to an 11th straight loss, folding 26-6 to the Chicago Bears as Jordan Howard ran for 117 yards and three touchdowns.
Denver beat Jacksonville 20-10, Cincinnati ran out 32-14 winners against Philadelphia and Green Bay secured a 21-13 victory over Houston.
In the later games, Oakland engineered their biggest comeback in 16 years to beat the Buffalo Bills 38-24, having trailed 24-9 early in the second half.
Tampa Bay made it four straight wins with a 28-21 road win over San Diego, while the New York Giants could not get out of their own way as their six-game winning streak came to an end with a 24-14 loss to Pittsburgh, with Eli Manning coughing up two interceptions.
