NFL Note - Baltimore Ravens Howard, Austin

Aug 13, 2017 - 7:32 AM RT Austin Howard signed a three-year, $16 million deal on Aug. 4 and was able to practice for the first time Saturday. The 6-foot-7, 300-pound Howard underwent shoulder surgery during the offseason. "He is a big guy, and it is good to have him here," Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said. "We are happy. He is excited; he really wanted to practice. He has been wanting to practice. I think he was excited to get out here and practice." Howard was released by the Oakland Raiders in July and previously was part of Baltimore's practice squad.
