NFL Note - Miami Dolphins Ajayi, Jay

Aug 16, 2017 - 11:11 AM RB Jay Ajayi is no longer in the NFL's concussion protocol, multiple outlets reported on Tuesday. Ajayi sustained the concussion on July 31 and returned to practice on Sunday. The 24-year-old is eligible for full-contact work and could be ready to play in Thursday's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens. After failing to accompany the team for its season opener, Ajayi led Miami with 1,272 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in 15 games last season to earn his first Pro Bowl selection. The 6-foot, 223-pound Ajayi also caught 27 passes for 151 yards.
