NFL Note - New Orleans Saints Unger, Max

Aug 19, 2017 - 8:11 AM C Max Unger has begun on-field work after undergoing offseason foot surgery. He has yet to participate in team drills, but remains on schedule to see action by the third or fourth preseason game. Head coach Sean Payton said Unger remains on schedule and the goal has been to have him ready to start the season opener Sept. 11 at Minnesota. "I'm pretty confident that he's going to receive some preseason work in a game," Payton said. Payton said he didn't expect Unger to play Sunday.
