NFL Note - Detroit Lions Stafford, Matthew
Aug 24, 2017 - 8:17 AM QB Matthew Stafford and most of the rest of the Lions' starters will see playing time in line with previous seasons in Friday's third preseason game against the New England Patriots. That means they'll play about a half of football before giving way to the backups. Stafford said he's worked on touch passes more this off-season as a way to elevate his game. "I think I got the fastballs down," he said. "Pretty good at those. Made a living doing those for a long time."No one has shouted yet.
