NFL Note - New York Jets Petty, Bryce
Sep 19, 2017 - 1:15 AM QB Bryce Petty reclaimed the backup job to Josh McCown. Christian Hackenberg was listed as the No. 2 man in Week 1 against the Bills because Petty was limited with a knee injury and head coach Todd Bowles "didn't like the way he looked." Petty will remain the backup for the foreseeable future, according to Bowles.No one has shouted yet.
