Ravens place RB Langford on IR

Sep 21, 2017 - 6:06 PM The Baltimore Ravens placed Jeremy Langford on injured reserve and signed fellow running back John Crockett from the practice squad, the team announced Thursday.

Langford sustained an undisclosed injury during a special teams drill on Wednesday, according to the Baltimore Sun.

The third-year running back had been re-signed by Baltimore on Tuesday and becomes the 16th player that the Ravens have placed on injured reserve.

Crockett played with the Green Bay Packers in 2015, recording nine carries for 21 yards in two games. The 6-foot, 215-pounder spent the 2016 season on injured reserve and was signed by the Oakland Raiders in July, but was waived as part of the team's final cuts.
