NFL Note - Washington Redskins Thompson, Chris
Sep 25, 2017 - 7:22 AM RB Chris Thompson had six receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown, and the Redskins posted a convincing 27-10 win over the Raiders on Sunday night.Thompson, Washington's third-down back, caught a 22-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and had a 74-yard, momentum-turning catch and run late in the third quarter. Thompson now has four touchdowns in three games.
"They're paying me to win my one-on-one matchups and make plays and be a spark for this offense," Thompson said. "Third downs especially, even in second-and-longs, I'm supposed to make plays ... so I've got to just continue to be good for my team."
For good measure, Thompson also rushed eight times for 38 yards.
No one has shouted yet.
