NFL Note - Pittsburgh Steelers Bryant, Martavis
Oct 17, 2017 - 6:02 AM WR Martavis Bryant reportedly requested a trade recently, but the Steelers wide receiver shut down those reports Monday. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported late Sunday that sources informed him of Bryant's trade request because of lack of playing time, adding that Steelers teammates and coaches are well aware that the receiver is unhappy. Bryant, 25, said he has not requested a trade, telling reporters, "I'm good." He missed the entire 2016 season due to a suspension by the NFL for multiple drug violations under the substance-abuse policy. He has 17 catches for 231 yards and one touchdown in six games this season. No one has shouted yet.
