NFL Note - Denver Broncos Sanders, Emmanuel
Oct 17, 2017 - 6:02 AM WR Emmanuel Sanders sustained a sprained ankle Sunday night and will miss the team's Week 7 game, Broncos coach Vance Joseph said Monday. Sanders, 30, exited the Broncos' 23-10 loss to the Giants late in the third quarter after he was hit in the lower right leg by safety Landon Collins on an incomplete pass. Sanders, who is second on the team in catches (25) and yards receiving (266), was on the ground being tended to by team medical personnel for several minutes before being helped off the field. He did not put any weight on the ankle as he was being assisted to the bench before later being taken to the locker room on a cart.No one has shouted yet.
