Lions DE Ansah (back) listed as active vs. Vikings

Nov 23, 2017 - 4:37 PM Detroit Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah is listed as active for Thursday afternoon's game versus the surging Minnesota Vikings at Ford Field.

Ansah, who sat out the last two games with a back injury, was questionable to play on Thursday.

The 28-year-old Ansah has had a disappointing season with just four sacks, but he's played well against the run. Detroit (6-4) has permitted 423 yards rushing over the last two weeks.

Linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin also is expected to play after missing the last two games with an ankle injury.

Detroit, however, will be without kick/punt returner Jamal Agnew due to a knee injury. He leads the league in punt return average (16.8) and return touchdowns.

Defensive end Dwight Freeney was also ruled inactive. He was signed after being cut by the Seattle Seahawks following their 34-31 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday,

Offensive tackle Mike Remmers was ruled inactive for the third straight game with a concussion for the NFC North-leading Vikings (8-2), who have won six in a row.

Defensive end Brian Robison (back) and safety Andrew Sendejo (groin/hamstring) are set to play after missing Sunday's 24-7 win against the Los Angeles Rams.
