Saints' Kamara exits with concussion
Dec 8, 2017 - 3:17 AM ATLANTA -- New Orleans standout rookie running back Alvin Kamara sustained a concussion in the first quarter of the Saints game against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night.He was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
Kamara was hurt on the Saints' first possession when he was tackled for a 4-yard loss by linebacker De'Vondre Campbell on a helmet-to-helmet hit after a pass from Drew Brees.
Kamara, a third-round draft choice from Tennessee, came into the game with 606 yards rushing and 614 yards receiving plus 11 touchdowns. He had a least one TD in six consecutive games.
He had a 23-yard gain on a pass from Brees before getting hurt.
