NFL Parlay and Best Bets: Conference Championships (2022)

Only four teams remain in the 2021 NFL season as the conference championships are slated to go off Sunday afternoon in Kansas City and Los Angeles. Can for just the second time in NFL history (and second in two years?!) a Super Bowl attendee play host? Or can the Bengals continue to pull off the impossible and stop the Chiefs from their third Super Bowl in four years?

Leg #1. Bengals +7 | +100  at DK Sportsbook

The game these two played less than a month ago is being discounted at a clip that I think has gotten out of control. Reaching as high as Bengals +7.5, the market is ignoring the fact the Bengals not only out-dueled this Chiefs team 34-31 but won the total and passing yardage battle as well.

With the season on the line for this one, I expect Burrow to go back to what got him here and a similar performance from the last time these two met. In that one, Burrow threw for 415 yards and four touchdowns, 266 yards, and three touchdowns of which went to rookie Ja’Marr Chase. While I expect the Chiefs to advance, I like for the Bengals to keep this one close.

Leg #2. Rams ML | -180 at DK Sportsbook

I like the Rams a lot in this one, but them losing six straight to this 49ers team is certainly not for nothing. In the end, however, the Rams dominated two straight postseason games, despite the late come back from the Buccaneers, and I don’t see a scenario they fail to advance in this one.

With edges at nearly every position including the coaching box, I like for the Rams to advance in this one.

Leg #3. Bengals-Chiefs Over 54.5 | -105 at DK Sportsbook

Heading back to Cincinnati, I like for this one to sail well over the posted total. While much has been made of this Chiefs’ defense having a “resurgence” down the stretch, it’s still a unit that over their past four games, all meaningful, has allowed 28.8 points per game.

Like we saw last week against Buffalo, I expect this one to turn into a shootout and for the Chiefs to have to come from behind following a hot start from the Bengals.
