Practices for the 2023 East-West Shrine Game conclude on Tuesday with some unpadded work before Thursday night’s game. With the 2023 NFL Draft coming up, here are some news and notes from Shrine practices for New York Giants fans to know.

A name to know

Perry is a player Giants fans should know. The NFL Mock Draft Database currently has him projected to the Giants at No. 57 in Round 2. That is likely high, since he is No. 134 on the Consensus Big Board, which puts him around late Round 3 or early Round 4 value.

Here are a pair of scouting reports: Draft Network | Pro Football Network

Zay Flowers has Ravens’ attention

If you would like to see Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers in a Giants’ uniform, Tony Pauline of Pro Football Network is indicating that the Giants might have to jump the Baltimore Ravens to get that done. If, that is, the Giants see Flowers as a Round 1 player.

The Ravens draft 23rd, two spots ahead of the Giants. Pauline wrote that “all session long on Monday, the Baltimore Ravens were connected to the hip of Flowers and stayed with him as he moved around the field. At times, it seemed the Ravens had multiple scouts escorting Flowers around the field, talking receiver technique with the Boston College product.”
