The Miami Dolphins needed to make improvements on the defensive side of the ball after a poor showing last season. Mike McDaniel brought in Vic Fangio to run the defense, so that’s already an upgrade as Fangio is considered to be one of the best defensive minds in the game. Then Chris Grier pulled off another great trade when he acquired cornerback Jalen Ramsey from the Los Angeles Rams and then signed linebacker David Long Jr. The Dolphins also have some pieces in place with young guys like Jevon Holland and Jaelan Phillips, who should thrive in this Fangio system.
