Nov 23, 2011 - 6:01 AM Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Jordan Eberle had two goals and an assist as the Edmonton Oilers roughed up the Nashville Predators, 6-2, at Bridgestone Arena.

"The things that have been consistent for us has been our goaltending and special teams and we got that tonight," said Edmonton head coach Tom Renney. "Certainly on the road those are two big things you need."

Jordin Tootoo had a goal and an assist while Jonathon Blum added a goal for the Predators, who have dropped their past two.

"We all need to do better, these early games are important down the stretch," said Nashville forward Mike Fisher. "Especially home games, this was a frustrating, embarrassing one for us."

Pekka Rinne started the game in net, but was pulled after the first period as he gave up three goals on 13 shots. Anders Lindback finished the game in net and gave up three goals on 19 shots.

Edmonton jumped on top nearly halfway though the first on the power play as Ryan Nugent-Hopkins snapped a shot from the outside right circle and Horcoff jammed home the rebound.

Just over two minutes later, the Oilers took a 2-0 lead as Hemsky was sprung on a break by Ryan Smyth and he dragged in a wrister for his second of the season.

Eberle scored his first of the game when he picked up a loose puck in the slot and shifted over to the right before wristing it in with 4:09 to play in the first.

After a scoreless second period, the Oilers made it a 4-0 game five minutes in when Eberle danced with the puck for several seconds before snapping home a wrister from the slot for his seventh of the season.

Nashville got on the board with a power-play goal from Tootoo at the 11:32 mark of the frame, but Jeff Petry countered with a power-play marker, his first of the year, 50 seconds later.

After Horcoff scored with 4:57 to play, Blum lit the lamp in the final seconds of the game to account for the final score.
