D'Agostini's second goal gives Canadiens OT victory
Sep 22, 2007 - 2:20 AM MONTREAL (Ticker) -- Matt D'Agostini is trying his best to make an impression.D'Agostini scored his second goal of the game 1:45 into overtime, lifting the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-2 preseason victory over the New York Islanders on Friday.
A sixth-round pick in 2005, D'Agostini spent last season in the American Hockey League with Hamilton, where he recorded 21 goals and 28 assists in 63 games. Tomas Plekanec recorded two assists and Carey Price - the fifth overall pick in 2005 - made 22 saves for Montreal, which went 1-for-5 on the power play.

Mike Morrison allowed two goals on 11 shots for New York before being replaced midway through the second period by Wade Dubielewicz, who made nine saves.
