Wild seeks revenge against Canucks

ST. PAUL, Minnesota (Ticker) -- The Minnesota Wild will be looking for revenge when they host the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday.

The team's met on Saturday and the Canucks posted a 2-1 victory.

Vancouver's Mattias Ohlund scored the game-winning goal at 9:04 of the third period, but there was controversy later in the period when it appeared Minnesota tied the game.

The Wild's Pascal Dupuis took a shot which bounced off teammate Henrik Sedin and off Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo's mask into the net.

The goal was reviewed and disallowed as the Canucks held on for the slim victory. Trevor Linden scored the other Vancouver goal while Pavol Demitra scored for Minnesota, which only has won regulation win in its last 20 games.

Five of Minnesota's last six victories have been in either a shootout or in overtime. The Wild return after a three-game western trip in which they went 0-3-0 and were outscored, 10-4.

After the Vancouver game, the Wild return to the road again, playing three of their next four on the road. Minnesota has lost seven straight road games but is 12-3-1 at home this season.
