Bruins look regroup after bad loss

TORONTO (Ticker) - The Boston Bruins had been playing great hockey until they got to Nashville.

The Bruins try to rebound from a bad loss to the Predators when they conclude their four-game road trip with the first of a home-and-home series with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday.

Boston was pounded, 5-0, by the Predators on Saturday after entering with a 3-0-1 record in its last four games. Hannu Toivonen, filing in for Tim Thomas, again struggled in allowing five goals on 25 shots.

The Maple Leafs have been struggling in going 1-4-1 in their last six games. Toronto lost, 3-2, in overtime to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.

Boyd Devereaux and Alex Steen scored for Toronto, which has won only four of its last 16 games. Maple Leafs netminder Andrew Raycroft allowed three goals on 34 shots.
