Wild look to snap 10-game road skid vs. Flames

CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- Now that Marian Gaborik is back in the lineup, the Minnesota Wild hope they can finally win away from home.

The Wild attempt to snap a 10-game road losing streak and a seven-game drought at Pengrowth Saddledome in Tuesday's meeting with the Calgary Flames,

After setting a career high with 38 goals last season, the 24-year-old Gaborik missed 34 games with a groin injury before returning for the Wild in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche.

Mikko Koivu scored his 10th goal of the season in the first period for Minnesota, which has not won on the road since a shootout triumph over the Nashville Predators on November 16. The Wild are just 4-14-1 away from home this season.

Calgary showed plenty of poise after losing captain Jarome Iginla to a knee injury in Friday's overtime victory over the Florida Panthers.

Byron Ritchie scored a pair of goals and rookie Dustin Boyd netted his first career tally for the Flames in Saturday's 4-2 triumph over the Dallas Stars.

Calgary has won four if its last five overall and has taken 16-of-21 at home. The Flames also have captured six of their last seven encounters against the Wild.
