Predators look for fourth straight win vs. Columbus

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) - The Nashville Predators aim for their fourth consecutive victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets and their fourth straight overall when the clubs meet Friday in the first contest of a home-and-home series.

Nashville claimed its third straight triumph with a 5-4 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday when Steve Sullivan scored the game-winner in overtime.

The goal was the second in three games for Sullivan, who has a three-game point streak going with two goals and two assists.

Paul Kariya had a goal and and an assist, and had has three goals and six assists in his last five games. Kariya leads Nashville in assists (33) and points (47).

The Blue Jackets are 1-2-1 in their last four, including a 4-3 overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.

David Vyborny recorded his team-leading 28th assist in the defeat. However, he has been relatively quiet lately, recording only two points in his last five games, both assists.

Vyborny, who has a team-high 38 points, has not scored in his last six games. His last goal came in a 7-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on December 28.
