Maple Leafs aim for fifth straight victory

ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- The Toronto Maple Leafs seek a season-high fifth straight win when they visit the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.

The Maple Leafs have been stingy during their four-game winning streak, allowing only five goals. Toronto goaltender Andrew Raycroft has started all four games and has stopped 122 of the 127 shots he has faced (96.1 percent).

Raycroft struggled in December with a 4-4-2 record and a 3.52 goals-against average but rebounded with a strong January. He went 8-4-0 with a 2.52 GAA in the first month of the new year.

Toronto captain Mats Sundin scored in regulation and tallied in the shootout in Toronto's 3-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. Sundin is in the midst of a four-game points streak.

The Blues snapped a three-game losing streak with a 2-0 triumph over the Dallas Stars on Saturday. Keith Tkachuk and Martin Rucinsky scored for St. Louis and Manny Legace made 22 saves to record his 17th career shutout.

Tkachuk has goals in the last two games and Legace is 7-2-1 in his last 10 starts with 24 goals allowed.

The Blues are 5-0-1 in their last six meetings with the Maple Leafs.
