Stars look to keep pace with Ducks, Sharks

ST. PAUL, Minnesota (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars are doing their part to make it a three-team race in the Pacific Division.

The Stars go for their fifth win in six games when they face the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday.

Dallas is in third place in the division, one point behind San Jose and seven behind the Anaheim Ducks.

The Stars are coming off a 5-2 win over the Sharks on Sunday. Mike Ribeiro and Jere Lehtinen each scored twice while Marty Turco made 17 saves.

Turco had been pulled in his previous two starts. He allowed three goals on 15 shots in a 7-5 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. Turco was pulled after eight minutes of a 4-2 win over the Wild on February 6.

The Wild are 3-1-1 in their last five games and are three points behind the first-place Calgary Flames in the Northwest Division. Minnesota was beaten by St. Louis, 5-3 on Sunday.

Marian Gaborik had a goal and an assist, and has five tallies in his last four games.
