Predators on the prowl for fourth straight win

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The Nashville Predators have shown they are more than comfortable on the road this season.

The Predators go for their league-leading 21st road victory against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.

Nashville's 90 points is the second most in the league. The Predators, 20-13-0 on the road this season, leads the Anaheim Ducks by three points in the Western Conference race.

Nashville improved to 2-0-0 on its five-game road trip with a 4-3 shootout win over the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday. J.P. Dumont scored the decisive goal in the fourth round of the bonus format and goaltender Tomas Vokoun made 27 saves.

Vokoun is also at home on the road, posting a 9-5-0 record with a 2.43 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage in 15 road starts.

The Kings are 5-2-3 in their last 10, but will probably miss the playoffs for the fourth straight season.

Los Angeles won its second straight, 4-3, in overtime over Anaheim on Thursday. Michael Cammalleri scored the winning goal at 3:17 of the extra session. Cammalleri, who has 25 goals in 63 contests, needs one more tally to equal his career-high set in 80 games last season.

Kings netminder Sean Burke is 6-3-2 with a 2.50 goals-against average this season. Burke, who has won three straight starts despite allowing 11 goals, made 21 saves in a 4-1 triumph over the Predators on February 10.
