Lightning conclude road trip against Maple Leafs

TORONTO (Ticker) -- Vincent Lecavalier tries to extend his points streak to six games when the Tampa Bay Lightning visit the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday.

The All-Star center is second in the league with 92 points. He has gone two straight games without a point just once on December 30 and January 2.

The Lightning are tied with Atlanta for first place in the Southeast Division. They improved to 3-2-0 on their season-high six-game road trip with a 3-2 overtime victory over Calgary on Saturday.

Defenseman Dan Boyle scored the winner in the extra session after taking a pass from Lecavalier, who scored his league-leading 46th goal earlier in the contest.

The Maple Leafs are 10th in the Eastern Conference, one point out of the final playoff spot. They defeated the Ottawa Senators, 4-3, in overtime on Saturday to salvage a split of a home-and-home series with the Senators.

Darcy Tucker scored twice and netted the game-winner for Toronto, which outshot Ottawa, 45-22.
