Blackhawks shoot for series sweep of Kings

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The lowly Chicago Blackhawks have had their way with the Los Angeles Kings this season.

The Blackhawks aim for a sweep of their season series with the Kings when the Western Conference bottom-feeders square off Friday in Chicago.

The Blackhawks have lost three straight games and have scored just five goals over that stretch. Patrick Sharp scored the lone goal in a 4-1 home loss to San Jose on Wednesday.

However, Chicago has won all three of its meetings with the Kings this season, including a 4-3 shootout victory in Los Angeles on March 15.

The Kings are 3-1-1 in their last five games but lost, 4-2, to Dallas on Wednesday.

Dustin Brown and Jamie Lundmark scored while rookie Anze Kopitar returned after missing 10 games with back injury. He has 18 goals and 56 points this season, third among NHL rookies.
