Penguins head home with a split

PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- After an embarrassing Game One loss, the Pittsburgh Penguins are headed home with a chance to gain the upper hand on the powerful Ottawa Senators.

The Penguins host the Senators on Sunday in Game Three of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

Sidney Crosby, the youngest Art Ross Trophy winner in league history, netted the game winner Saturday and added an assist as Pittsburgh tied the series with a 4-3 win.

Ottawa had claimed a convincing 6-3 win in the opener, but fell to 0-7 in franchise history in the second game of a series after winning the first game. Star right wing Dany Heatley tallied an assist in the loss and scored a goal in Game One, extending his point streak to 10 games.

Sunday's game will be the Penguins first home playoff game since being shutout in back-to-back games by the New Jersey Devils in the 2001 Eastern Conference finals.
