Stars, Ducks meet in battle of Pacific Division unbeatens

ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars seem to be at home on the west coast.

The Stars look to remain undefeated and for another victory over a west coast club when they tangle with the unbeaten Anaheim Ducks on Sunday in a battle of Pacific Division rivals.

Dallas enters off a pair of wins against the Los Angeles Kings. The Stars downed the Kings, 4-1, on Thursday and followed up with a 4-1 triumph on Saturday.

In Saturday's victory, Mike Ribeiro had a goal and three assists while Brenden Morrow scored twice to pace the Stars. Goaltender Marty Turco was sharp in stopping 24 of 25 shots.

Dallas went 3-for-10 on the power play and but still is only converting at a 16.7 percent rate this season.

Anaheim tries to rebound from a 5-4 shootout loss to the New York Islanders on Thursday. Samuel Pahlsson led the Ducks with two goals and Corey Perry and Chris Pronger also added tallies.

The Ducks were 2-for-6 on the power play, and are 7-for-23 (30.4 percent) this season.
