Ducks edge Blue Jackets

Oct 28, 2013 - 1:57 AM Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Corey Perry's go-ahead goal with 2:25 remaining helped the Anaheim Ducks take a 4-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday.

Ryan Getzlaf, Emersom Etem, and Peter Holland also tallied for Anaheim, which has won two straight on the heels of a brief two-game slide. Frederik Anderson made 18 saves in the triumph.

Arten Anisimov netted a pair of goals, while Blake Comeau also lit the lamp for the Blue Jackets, who had their three-game winning streak snapped. Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 28 shots in defeat.

Perry handled a bouncing puck off the boards to the left of Bobrovsky and faked a shot before lifting the puck past him for the winner.

"One of those ones where it takes a weird hop and comes right to me," Perry said.

Comeau's slap shot from the high point accounted for the only goal in the first before Anaheim answered with a pair of tallies in the second on wristers by Getzlaf and Holland.

"We came out flat in the second period," Comeau said.

Anisimov finished off a shorthanded breakaway to tie it at 2-2 12:12 into the second.

Etem put home a rebound on the power play early in the third to give Anaheim the lead, but Anisimov re-directed James Wisniewki's right-point shot to square the contest at 3-3 11:36 into the third.
