Blackhawks try to continue fast start

The Blackhawks host the Montreal Canadiens in the first meeting in Chicago since February of 2002 on Wednesday.
Chicago is on the verge of earning its fourth win - a mark it did not reach until its 13th game of the 2005-06 campaign.
The Blackhawks try to make it two wins in a row after a 5-3 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Monday. Martin Lapointe scored two goals, including the go-ahead tally with 5:26 left in the game.
Martin Havlat had two assists and goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin made 19 saves for Chicago, which tries to end a three-game losing streak to Montreal.
The Canadiens, who have won five of the last six meetings with the Blackhawks, posted a 5-4 trumph over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday.
Radek Bonk scored twice, including a shorthanded goal, defenseman Sheldon Souray netted two power-play goals and Alexei Kovalev was responsible for the go-ahead tally with 4:06 left in the second period for Montreal.
Netminder Cristobal Huet stopped 20 shots for the Canadiens, who defeated the Blackhawks, 3-2, in their last meeting here.
