Red Wings' Zetterberg looks to continue fast start

DETROIT (Ticker) -- Henrik Zetterberg, tied for third in the league in scoring, looks to continue his fast start on Friday when the Detroit Red Wings host the Chicago Blackhawks.

Zetterberg has two goals and six assists in the Red Wings' first four games. He is two points behind Ottawa's Jason Spezza for the NHL scoring league.

Detroit has won seven of its last 10 against Chicago, including four in a row here.

However, the Red Wings may be without goalie Dominik Hasek, who sat out Wednesday's 4-2 win over Calgary with a bruised knee cap. Backup Chris Osgood, who made 19 saves on Wednesday, will start if Hasek cannot play.

For the Blackhawks, rookie Jonathan Toews looks to build on an impressive debut.

The third overall pick in the 2006 draft, Toews scored on his first shot in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to San Jose.

But the Blackhawks likely will be without last season's leading scorer Martin Havlat, who is sidelined indefinitely with a right shoulder injury.

Chicago needs its power play to wake up as the Blackhawks are 0-for-10 with the man advantage.
