Sedin brothers look to continue hot start vs. Sharks

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- The Sedin twins have looked unstoppable this season. The only team the brothers struggled against was the San Jose Sharks.

Henrik and Daniel Sedin look to bounce back against the Sharks and lead the Vancouver Canucks to their third straight win when the teams face off Monday.

San Jose held the brothers pointless in a season-opening 3-1 win over Vancouver. But since then, the Sedins have combined for four goals and 10 assists in the next four games.

The twins were at it again on Saturday, as Daniel assisted on both of Henrik's goals in a 4-1 win over Edmonton. It was the first home win of the season for Vancouver, which had been outscored, 11-3, in its first two games here.

Historically, the Sedins have fared well against San Jose.

Daniel has three goals and eight assists in his last 11 games against the Sharks while Henrik has one goal and eight assists in his last seven games vs. San Jose.

The man in charge of slowing them is San goaltender Evgeni Nabokov, who has a 2.48 goals-against average this season.
