Leclaire, Blue Jackets host Stars

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) - Pascal Leclaire hopes that a return home means a return to form.

Leclaire will hope to bounce back from his worst outing of the season when the Columbus Blue Jackets host the Dallas Stars on Wednesday.

After back-to-back home shutouts, the 24-year-old Leclaire was bested five times in Colorado in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Avalanche. The Canadian netminder made 60 combined saves against the Phoenix Coyotes and Anaheim Ducks in his first two starts this season.

The Blue Jackets may turn to Fredrik Norrena in the crease for this game, considering his success against the Western Conference foe last season. The 32-year-old Finn went 3-1 with a 1.71 goals-against average and a .931 save percentage in his career against the Stars.

Dallas is coming of consecutive overtime losses, dropping contests to the Calgary Flames and Chicago Blackhawks on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Backup netminder Tobias Stephan, who was called up because of Mike Smith's arm injury, had his shutout bid end with less than two seconds left in regulation against the Blackhawks on Saturday and then surrendered another goal less than a minute into overtime for a 2-1 setback.

The Stars will likely turn back to Marty Turco on Wednesday. Turco has been fantastic in his career against Columbus, going 10-1-1 with a 1.90 GAA and .914 save percentage in 12 games.

Niklas Hagman leads the Stars with five goals and two assists this season.
