Ducks hope to extend winning streak to three games

ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- The Anaheim Ducks look to continue their winning way when then host the Dallas Stars on Monday night.

Anaheim picked up its third consecutive win after defeating the Phoenix Coyotes 5-2 on Saturday behind Corey Perry's two-goal performance.

The Ducks, who finished 22-14-5 on the road in 2006-07, were 0-5-1 through their first six contests away from the Honda Center.

"It's always going to take hard work and effort to go into the other team's building and not only win but to play our style," Anaheim's Chris Pronger said. "We're getting back to that and are starting to put a few games together where we've done that."

Dallas, however, is hoping to avoid collecting its fourth loss in a row after falling 0-5 against Phoenix on Friday. The Stars have not dropped four straight games in regulation since losing five consecutive from November 30-December 10, 2003.

In their first meeting, the Stars came away with an impressive 3-1 victory at home on October 20. But Dallas hasn't been so lucky here, going 0-2-1 in its last three trips here.

Stars goaltender Marty Turco has fared well against the Ducks, posting 14-6-2 all-time record compared to Anaheim netminder Jean-Sebastien Giguere's 9-13-2 mark in the series.
