Canadiens try to continue strong play on road vs. Sabres

The Canadiens are 7-3-1 away from home this season - the best record in the Eastern Conference. Montreal ended a streak of five consecutive games allowing three goals or more in its last game on Wednesday - a 4-1 victory at the New York Islanders.
Cristobal Huet made 44 saves in the win to snap a personal three-game losing streak. The 32-year-old netminder is 7-5-2 this season with a 2.27 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage.
Huet, who is 6-4-3 in 14 starts against the Sabres in his career, suffered a 4-1 loss during his last start against Buffalo last Friday.
The win against Montreal marked the first of back-to-back victories for the Sabres, who had previously lost three in a row and six of their last seven.
With the return of Tim Connolly, Buffalo has scored four goals in each of its last two games. The 26-year-old center, who is tied for the team lead with 11 assists, missed five games with a strained oblique before returning against the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday.
