Naslund, Canucks return home vs. Blackhawks

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- The Vancouver Canucks have been up-and-down all season. The decline appears to be starting again.

Markus Naslund will try to help the Canucks bounce back when they kick off a three-game homestand with the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday night.

After a 5-0-1 stretch, Vancouver has lost two of its previous three contests. The only thing that stopped them from losing all three was Naslund's hat trick in a 4-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday.

Naslund has 10 goals and nine assists on the season, remaining just 13 points shy of 800 for his career. He has notched six tallies in his last five games.

The Blackhawks are also looking to bounce back after suffering a 3-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers in a shootout Saturday.

Even with the loss, Chicago is having a great month. They have posted a 6-2-2 record during November.

The team has been led by rookie Patrick Kane, who may be picking up the Calder Trophy when the season ends. The top pick in the draft, the 19-year-old Kane has a team-leading 15 assists and 22 points.
