Coyotes face Wild looking for fifth straight win

ST. PAUL, Minnesota (Ticker) - The Phoenix Coyotes go for their fifth consecutive win on Wednesday when they visit the Minnesota Wild.

The Coyotes continued their winning ways on Saturday, posting a 5-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Ilya Bryzgalov won his fourth-straight start, making 25 saves for Phoenix, which has outscored the opposition 14-5 during the streak.

Bryzgalov, who was acquired off waivers from the Anaheim Ducks on November 17, has yet to lose with the Coyotes and was named the NHL's second star for his three wins last week.

For the season, the 27-year-old netminder is 6-3-1 with a 2.08 goals against average and a .924 save percentage.

The Wild have lost back-to-back games at home and try to avoid losing three straight at Xcel Energy Center for the first time since January 2006.

Minnesota got back on track Saturday with a thrilling 4-3 triumph over the Nashville Predators. Branko Radivojevic scored with less than two minutes remaining in the game to lift the Wild to victory.
