Stars looking to get back on track vs. Flyers

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) - The Dallas Stars will finish off their trip through the Atlantic Division when they visit the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.

The Stars have lost back-to-back games to the New Jersey Devils and Pittsburgh Penguins.

In Friday's 4-1 loss to the Penguins, Mike Smith had his four-game winning streak snapped. The 25-year-old Smith, who was 4-0-0 with a 1.01 goals-against average over his streak, surrendered four goals for the first time since October 6.

Marty Turco will likely be back in goal Saturday. He is 7-5-3 with a 2.63 GAA and .904 save percentage. The 32-year-old netminder has lost four of his last six starts.

The Flyers are trying to end a four-game losing streak at home. After winning its first six home contests, Philadelphia has failed to win at the Wachovia Center since November 12.

Despite their recent home woes, the Flyers are still tied with the New York Rangers atop the division standings with 30 points.

A major reason for the club's success has been Mike Richards, who leads Philadelphia with 14 tallies and 30 points. Offseason acquisition, Daniel Briere has 12 goals and 18 assists.
