Predators look to get first win at Bell Centre

MONTREAL (Ticker) - The Nashville Predators used a lot of offense to record their first win on their three-game road swing through eastern Canada. On Saturday, they will need to overcome history.

The Predators will look for their first win in the Bell Centre when they visit the Montreal Canadiens.

Nashville scored a season-high six goals on Thursday in its 6-5 victory over the Ottawa Senators. They let a late lead get away with 45.4 seconds to play as the Senators tied the game, 5-5, but right wing Martin Erat provided the game-winning tally 23 seconds later.

Erat also had two assists in the game and leads Nashville with 16 assists and 24 points.

The Predators, who joined the league as an expansion team in 1998, have notched a road win against each NHL team except Montreal. Nashville is 0-3-1 all-time here and haven't traveled to the Bell Centre since December 18, 2003.

Montreal will be looking to rid itself of the memory of Friday's 4-0 loss to the New Jersey Devils. It marked the second straight game Montreal has been shutout and was the team's third loss in four contests.

Cristobal Huet figures to get the start Saturday over rookie goaltender Carey Price, who allowed four goals on 29 shots in the loss to the Devils.
