Zetterberg, Red Wings go for fourth straight win

MONTREAL (Ticker) - Henrik Zetterberg looks to lead the Detroit Red Wings to their fourth consecutive victory when they visit the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday in a battle of two of the league's original six teams.

The Red Wings are coming off consecutive home wins over the Calgary Flames, Tampa Bay Lightning and Phoenix Coyotes.

Zetterberg scored a goal and set up another as Detroit edged Phoenix, 3-2, on Saturday. The Swedish left wing leads the NHL's best club with 17 goals and 35 points on the season.

The Red Wings have been getting stellar play in goal from Chris Osgood, who has posted a 13-1-1 record with a 1.79 goals-against average. But Dominik Hasek is expected to start this contest.

Hasek and the Detroit defense will have a tough task in front of them - Montreal owns the league's best power play with a 26 percent conversion rate.

Alexei Kovalev has tallied eight of his team-leading 12 goals while on the power play.

The Canadiens have lost four of their previous five games and have not won at home since November 17.
