Devils look to extend home winning streak to six games

NEWARK, New Jersey (Ticker) - The New Jersey Devils look to continue their home success Saturday when they face the Phoenix Coyotes.

New Jersey enters having won a season-high five straight contests at the Prudential Center.

It has not been just at home where they Devils have been playing well. They are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games to move atop the Atlantic Division.

On Thursday, the Devils completed a three-game road trip with a 3-1 victory over the Boston Bruins.

Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur, who struggled earlier this season, has returned to his normal self. The three-time Vezina Trophy winner is 10-0-1 with a 1.44 goals-against average with two shutouts since November 17.

Phoenix has split the first two games of a six-game road trip.

The Coyotes have struggled offensively, ranking last in the Western Conference with 70 goals

This is the only meeting between the teams this season.
