Iginla, Flames look to get back on track vs. Devils

CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- After having their six-game winning streak snapped, the Calgary Flames will try to get back in the win column when they host the New Jersey Devils on Sunday.

Jarome Iginla was held off the scoresheet for time in five contests as the Flames fell to the Dallas Stars, 3-2, in a shootout Friday. Since December 11, Iginla has eight goals and three assists over six games.

The 10-year veteran leads the club with 24 goals and 49 points on the season.

Iginla will not have an easy time Sunday playing against three-time Vezina Trophy winner Martin Brodeur, who is 17-12-2 with two shutouts this season.

Brodeur made 19 saves and Brian Gionta scored a goal and set up another in a 35-second span in the third period as the Devils rallied for a 3-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Friday.

The 35-year-old Brodeur has 12 victories in his previous 15 starts. His 511 career wins - all with New Jersey - are the most in NHL history with one franchise and trails just Patrick Roy's 551 on the all-time list.

Offensively, the Devils have been led by Zach Parise, who has 15 goals and 35 points this season.
